About Me - I’m Colleen, a photographer specialising in Maternity , Newborns and family portraiture. First and foremost I am quite simply Mom to 3 adorable kids – Daigan, Aaron, and our surprise cherub Tyla Ava. In addition I am also wife and best friend to my husband, Mathew.

My History - I have been interested in photography since childhood, and the opportunity to make my life’s dream my life’s work has since the birth of my children really been able to flourish. It has been such joy to be able to capture their special moments, memories and everyday life in portraiture. It is my hope that I can do that for you and your precious family too.

My Style - My style is simple – no bells and whistles, just clean portraiture. I work from a studio in my home in Edenvale and look forward to welcoming you there for a photoshoot with a personal touch.

Beautiful Neve | Johannesburg Baby Photographer

Neve – I love her name!! I did Tanja’s maternity shoot a while ago, you might remember this gorgeous bump – and Tanja brought Neve around for a few photographs a few weeks back.

I have never had a baby that ignored me as much as Neve did though – she had eyes ONLY for her mother. I tried every tactic in the book to get her attention but she was having none of it. Her eyes were glued to her mom the entire shoot. Tanja, I think next time we need to get you behind the lense

Baby Luan | Johannesburg Newborn Photographer

My friend Jessica had her baby recently and for many reasons this baby is an exceptional gift. It was my great honor and privilege to be able to do these photo’s for Sandra and Luan’s daddy Edmund. They make a beautiful couple, and Edmund is one of the proudest daddies I have seen in a long time.

To the three of you I wish you life long joy and happiness ♥

These photographs have been waiting around a long time for me to edit, I have been so busy playing catch up and getting back into work that I have not had a chance to edit. They were taken the week-end before I went into hospital when we did the fun shoot organised by my amazing friend Natasha du Preez and her equally fantastic hubby Deon du Preez from http://www.tphoto.co.za/. Fran and Chloe | Johannesburg Family Photographer

Beautiful Fran and her equally beautiful sister Chloe came to visit me at the studio recently. Fran was not really into having her photograph taken but we did have a great chat outside when we were blowing bubbles and she allowed me to capture a few shots of her. Children love bubbles!!

Baby Taylia – Johannesburg Newborn Photographer

It was absolutely freezing on Sunday and Baby Taylia was a superstar, she let us hand her around and she basically slept through the whole thing.

As most of you will know, newborn photography is my passion, I love it, and when I get a baby like Taylia who poses so beautifully for us, it makes me realise how truly blessed I am to be doing what I love.
