Connor’s gran Allison mailed me a while ago say that she was looking to have a photograph done of her grandchild but wanted it to look like an old black and white of his mom, Tracy, taken when she was a baby. We tried getting him to look at the camera the same way that his mom had and I hope we got what Allison was looking for.
Connor was so good, and although a bit serious, he was quite happy to have us snap away as much as we wanted – a real little star, and gorgeous too!!
Well not exactly newborn anymore, but this was meant to be beautiful baby Matthew’s newborn session, except that Palesa and I could only get together when he was 2 months old.
I met Palesa and her hubby a while back when I did her maternity shoot and she is one of those people that you just want to sit down and have a cup of coffee with and talk about your day, she has an amazing smile that matches her personality and luckily her beautiful daughter inherited all these things from her.

I recently met with Phatu and her beautiful family for a combined family / Maternity session. 3 year old Thendo had such fun during the session and is so comfortable in front of the camera, I think mom has a little model in the making.

This sweet little princess was such a star, she was 3 weeks old at her shoot but because she was prem she actually had her newborn session on her due date.
I could do this every day, honestly. I had SO much fun playing with her

I can’t believe how crazy this last month has been with first birthdays! All these babies that I photographed when they were still in mum’s tum are now returning for their birthday pics. Judes and Pia are very good friends and their babies are very close in age so we did their first birthday shoot together.
Guys, it’s been amazing watching your newborns turn into these beautiful little people ♥
