These two angels are very near and dear to my heart. Even though I only met them at their newborn shoot, their mom Elschen had kept in touch with me from the time she was pregnant. We missed out on the maternity shoot because the babies scared the bejeebees out of everyone by arriving way before their due date. Meyelee spent 45 days in NICU before being discharged but little Lourenlize was there for a very long 82 days. She had to undergo an operation for severe reflux and I cannot imagine what it must be like to put your teeny tiny newborn through surgery at such a young age. So we only got around to doing their shoot at 3 months of age. Elschen and Wayne you two are a true inspiration and I look forward to sharing in your girls growth this year.
And just on a final note, I had to giggle at Wayne’s T shirt that says “Guns don’t kill people – dad’s with pretty daughters kill people. Love it 🙂
